FAQs

How do I purchase work?

Paintings can be purchased directly from the website through the Gallery tab. For in person payments, I can accept credit/debit card through Sumup. If you live in the Fingal area of County Dublin I can deliver in person or paintings can be collected from my studio in Lusk, Co Dublin.

What is the returns policy?

If you change your mind you have 14 days from the date you receive the painting to return it for a full refund under EU Right of Withdrawal law but you must bear the cost of return shipping yourself. If the painting reaches you damaged or otherwise not as described you are entitled to either a full refund including return shipping, repair if possible or a different painting of similar value if you prefer. In the case of a dispute which cannot be resolved you can refer to impartial arbitration through ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr

How is shipping calculated?

Shipping is calculated by weight and will also depend on the location of the addressee. I use the Irish national postal service An Post and you can find their pricing lists here. My small works are all generally up to 1kg and medium and large works are all generally up to 2kg. Please email me for any further assistance with shipping cost queries. All prices listed on my gallery are inclusive of taxes and duties.

Do you accept commissions?

Yes, I do take commissions. My book is open from 1 January until 10 November. 50% of the total value of any commission must be paid in advance and is non-refundable. The remainder is paid when the painting is completed to your satisfaction. Commissioned paintings start at Euro 200. A clear and well lit image is required if working from a photograph. You can call me on (087) 7743924 or email fodhlawardartist@gmail.com to discuss details further.
